This Carhartt hoodie at 10 and 1/2 ounces is pretty heavy. We do have heavier Carhartt hoodie, which I would consider as a jacket replacement. This hoodie is limited in terms of fashionable colors; however, the fabric of this hoodie will last even if you're really hard on it. If you want a true jacket replacement, check out the Carhartt heavyweight hoodie has the same cut and feel of this hoodie, however it's noticeably heavier weight.
