Hello, I'm Tim.

In the Spring of 2009, I started my own screen printing business in my parent's garage.  Since that time, I've worked as a wholesale screen printer for 12 years before opening a customer-facing shop in 2022. I am happy to be a part of the Phoenixville community and help outfit local businesses, teams, schools, and clubs.

Timothy Ink's Origin Story

Tim has always been the artist of the family.  At one point, he even created an illustration from an old photograph that was so life-like his mother overlooked the fact that it was done in the medium of sharpie on the material of drywall.  Whenever someone needed a cover for a book report, an ad image for upcoming class play or a get well card for grandma, Tim could be commissioned to create the artwork.

Tim went on to study fine arts and printmaking at Kutztown University. He thrived in the creative environment surrounded by artists, who loved to experiment with lines and color.  His printmaking classes led him to an internship in New York, taking an artist’s work and screen printing it on t-shirts.  Wearable art seemed to combine his creative strength with the desire to help others make a lasting impression in the world.

In 2009,  Timothy Ink started with humble beginnings in his parents’ garage with a single manual press.  As the business grew, transitioning to an automated screen press serving as a wholesale screen printer for over a decade in the Malvern area.

When Tim moved to Phoenixville, drawn to  its local art scene, small businesses, unique restaurants and kayaking, he worked with the Jaycees.  As a member building community with other business owners and taking an active role in the Dogwood Festival.   In the Spring of 2022, Timothy Ink relocated and opened the customer-facing shop in Phoenixville.
